About Me

UI/UX designer from Orlando, FL.
Currently based in Gainesville, FL.

Forever interested and curious. I'm passionate about empathy, learning how people tick, and applying what I've learned to help others.

When I was a kid, I used to recreate and modify the UI elements in my operating system when I was bored. My only outlet was MS Paint, but there was a spark of curiosity about UI design that led me to start creating.

Later, I moved on to creating my own user interfaces in PowerPoint, where I'd add interactivity. I didn't know it at the time, but I was actually creating my first prototypes.

I've been a technical specialist for Apple, where I got to see firsthand what it's like to observe users while they interact with a product. The dots really connected for me there, and I decided to change my major from advertising to Digital Media and wholeheartedly pursue UI and UX design.

I'm currently working as the principal UI/UX designer for a design firm, where I specialize in advocating for users to bring the balance between beautiful UI and good UX. One of my biggest passions is advocating for better accessibility in our products. I love to educate team members, clients, and stakeholders about how designing products with accessibility in mind creates a better experience for everyone.
